DIAGNOSTIC & COUNSELING CENTER
Assess. Address. Progress.
It can be overwhelming when school grades or work performance decline due to difficulty concentrating or trouble completing assignments. These issues can be indicative of a learning problem.
An assessment could benefit you or your child if you are noticing any of the following issues: academic difficulties, behavioral and/or attention problems, differences in academic or cognitive abilities, or emotional difficulties brought on by school or work. These assessments provide us with valuable information about intellectual abilities, strengths, weaknesses and learning styles. They can be beneficial in diagnosing underlying learning and/or cognitive issues, as well as improving upon existing strengths.
Assessments can provide criteria for diagnosis or ruling out of the following issues:
Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental delays
